What message is Trump actually sending? He wants your vote. He will say anything to get it.

Trump was tried by a jury of his peers, and was found wanting. Thirty four times.

I could not help but notice the number of tractor trailers on the road; it seemed as if every fourth or fifth vehicle was a semi- truck hauling - stuff - stuff that was bought and sold, stuff that was being delivered to buyers, the stuff of commerce, the stuff of businesses humming along.

Johnson, this avowedly religious politician, is now clearly a disciple of Donald Trump, taking his guidance from the gospel of Donald as written in the eponymous Trump Bible

There has to be a way to ratchet back this  tit-for-tat, eye-for-an-eye bellicosity. It doesn’t matter who started it. It matters how we can stop it.

It seems the version of the Bible that Johnson and his cronies are reading is missing a few important pages.

The kitchen motif was a blatant tell of the conservative Christian Republican party’s view of women and where they belong.

It’s time to just say no. It’s time to send Trump and his limited edition kicks to the curb. 

This legislation could be a turning point, a rare moment of consensus to try to resolve the border crisis along with much needed aid internationally. Alas, that glimmer is dimming. Why? Because Trump doesn’t like it.

Israel has a right to exist. So does a Palestinian state.  It is time to weed out the extremists and to seek a peaceful  solution.

The border crisis is real, and that’s the way these Republicans like it.

Trump is desperate to absolve himself of all previous wrongdoing and to avenge his perceived wrongs;  being President will allow him to do so.

Our legislators reap the benefits of yearly wage increases while the  state minimum wage has remained unchanged for 15 years.

Students, all students, Jewish, Palestinian, Black, Asian, gay,  trans, female, whoever,  ALL should feel safe on a college campus.

Right-leaning Christian extremists believe that Jesus’ teachings are “weak” and “woke” and “liberal talking points.”

Your magical alternate universe “it’s not my fault” thinking is breathtaking in its disdain for facts and contempt of the intellect of those you represent.

This “shaping” would leave young people  in no shape to discern anything beyond a one-sided perspective,  unequipped to develop their own opinions or point of view. 

Altruism is more and more absent from the Republican party.
