It’s time for Dems to channel Vic Fangio. This is the Big Game for our Constitution. It’s time to come to the center. It’s time to play defense.

Take a good look in the mirror.  Why are you in office? To enable a president who aspires to be a dictator, or to work for us, the people of the United States? 

The New Apostolic Reformation movement is a growing threat to those of us who cherish a secular democracy, one that guarantees equal rights for all.

To those of you who voted for Trump in the hope that he would deliver on lowering food prices, don’t hold your breath. Trump is not yet in office, yet he is already walking back that assurance.

As these conservatives push their pro-have-lots-of-children agenda, they should think about the world they would bequeath to the children they beget. 

I am still here, a lone small voice.

Let me count the ways.

We deserve a break today.

As November 5 approaches, this is not the time to shillyshally. We all have an invaluable opportunity, and, for the moment, an inalienable right and obligation to take a stand, to make our voices heard, to vote.

The last time the ILA went on strike was in 1977. It took seven weeks to reach a settlement. The Biden administration was able to help both sides reach an agreement in three days.

Clinton accepted the results of the Electoral College process that named Trump the winner. Can one imagine how Trump’s MAGA supporters would react should Trump win the popular vote, but Harris outfoxes him (as he outfoxed Clinton) and wins in the Electoral College?

Is anyone else as creeped out by Trump’s sudden “friend of women” riff?

There is a cynicism at play here in this weird MAGA campaign that is shamelessly, blatantly unencumbered by evidence or facts.

Trump sidestepped the gun issue, saying the shooter was a “deranged, sick monster.” So how did this “sick monster” get his hands on a gun?

Yet there are men out there who cannot give powerful women like these three their due. 

Trump is just the loud, glib front/con man for this  conservative movement that is intent upon reshaping my country, our country, into a theocratic  world circumscribed by their conservative, religious beliefs.
