The pardon's in the mail.

The Justice Department released the interview between US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and Epstein confidant Ghislaine Maxwell in the hope that this might finally calm the furor over Epstein and his connection to Trump.  Let’s see, why on earth should we believe anything  Maxwell or Blanche has to say? Todd Blanche was formerly one of Donald Trump’s personal lawyers. There’s no conflict of interest there. No sirree. In December, 2021, Maxwell was found guilty of conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in sex acts, and sex trafficking of a minor. Prosecutors and the judge who oversaw the 2021 trial said Maxwell made multiple false statements under oath, with prosecutors writing, “ The defendant’s willingness to brazenly lie under oath…suggests her true motive has been and remains to avoid being held accountable for her crimes.” The perjury charge was dropped as long as her conviction on other counts was allowed to stand. Maxwell wants out. Trump wants the Epstein issue to go away. Blanche is Trump’s man. Maxwell was suddenly transferred to a minimum security prison “camp” in Texas. Trump has hinted at a pardon. Maxwell has petitioned the Supreme Court to have her conviction vacated. And now we have the interview where, surprise, surprise, Trump was always a gentleman, she never saw Epstein with  underage girls, and there is no list. Nope, no conflict of interest. Nothing to see here. The pardon’s in the mail. Just the nature of doing business in Trump world.
