ICE has killed again. With Trump’s blessing. He hopes Americans, the center, will fall apart. He would loose anarchy upon us, all for the sake of consolidating his own power. Deaf to Governor Walz and Mayor Frey who ask how many more Americans need to die? Trump does not know nor does he care. Governor Walz says ICE agents “are sowing chaos and violence” yet Trump accuses him of “inciting insurrection.” Because that is exactly what Trump wants. Take the bait. Make his day. Give him an excuse to suspend civil liberties and constitutional freedoms, truth be damned. Our ineffectual politicians lack all conviction and we are witness to a president intent upon dismantling our center, our democracy, full of passionate intensity solely for his own retribution and vengeance, any pretext will do.
