It’s abundantly clear that Chrisley indeed knows best. The Trump Pardon store is open for business and the Chrisleys are happy customers. Commit fraud? Lie to investors? Facilitate drug traffickers on the dark web? Steal money intended for a statue honoring fallen police officers? Attack the Capitol to overturn an election? Just gain Trump’s (uninjured) ear and no crime is too egregious. Hand over your designated vigorish - pay a few million bucks for dinner, post strident Trump accolades on social media, wear a pink MAGA cap: ingratiate, pay the rate, say he’s great, and voilà! You’ve been pardoned! This dealing of “get-out-of-jail-for-a-fee” cards is unpardonable and dishonorable. It has turned the White House into a house of money changers and merchants - our house of democracy has devolved into nothing more than a den of idolatry, hypocrisy and greed.
